How do I clean my product?Updated a month ago
🧼 Our products have been handcrafted. Shades and materials may vary slightly from one product to another, making each piece unique.
Bag care :
- We recommend dry cleaning or cold machine cleaning (cold programme or 30°C) on a short cycle (max 30 minutes).
- We recommend ironing at medium temperature.
- Never clean in a hot machine and never wash. If you choose these cleaning methods, Hindbag cannot be held responsible for any damage to your product.
- It is advisable to avoid prolonged contact with water, sunlight, the moon, strong artificial light, heat and greasy substances, otherwise irreversible damage may occur.
- It is advisable to pay particular attention to possible colour transfers. As a general rule, avoid combining a dark bag with a light garment or a dark garment (particularly raw denim trousers and jackets) with a light bag.
- Never tumble dry, as this could damage the fabric or cause the product to shrink.
Notes : If you do not follow the care recommendations, Hindbag cannot be held responsible for the deterioration of your product.
Waterproofing of products :
- Hindbag bags are made from GOTS-certified organic cotton. This cotton is not waterproof. But it is very thick, which means it can withstand small splashes and light rain.
- We recommend waterproofing cotton products every 3 months using a colourless waterproofing spray.
- Materials such as recycled wool, recycled faux fur and organic velvet are neither waterproof nor water-repellent. We recommend avoiding exposing them to water.
